IN ST. LOUIS, MO
Parkcrest Plastic Surgery and its team of board-certified physicians welcome brow lift patients from throughout the region, including St. Louis, St. Charles, Chesterfield, O’Fallon, St. Peters, Creve Coeur, and surrounding areas. Our vast experience and warm demeanor set us apart, making our office the best choice for brow lifts in St. Louis.
Many of our patients choose to have a brow lift for several reasons:
- a heavy brow that makes them look cross or tired
- the skin of the brow has become wrinkled and lined
- they want a more youthful looking face
Along with our other cosmetic procedures, Parkcrest Plastic Surgery is delighted to offer brow lift surgery to enhance and refresh the appearance of our patients.
What Is Brow Lift Surgery and How Is It Performed?
In traditional brow lift surgery, the forehead skin is elevated to lift the position of the eyebrow line. This allows for the surgeon to eliminate or minimize the horizontal lines that run across the forehead. The doctor will make a full incision across the top of the forehead behind the hair line. Through this incision, muscles are tightened, and excess skin and other tissues are removed. The final step is to close the incisions. The overall result is a smoother, younger looking forehead.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
The endoscopic brow lift technique is preferred by many patients because it is less invasive and leaves less visible scarring than a traditional brow lift. If you need a less extensive forehead and eyebrow lift, together with your surgeon you can determine if the endoscopic method is best for you.W
“I’m long overdue on this review, but if I could give more stars, I would. Dr. McGuire is my absolute favorite! I went into my procedure so afraid, uncertain, and with a TON of questions. I even came back for a second consult. She didn't act like I was annoying or a waste of time. She didn't try to sell me on anything. She listened to my concerns and needs and gave me her honest opinions. From scheduling to post-op, there was not one snag. She is punctual and extremely clear on what to expect every step of the way, to the hour, pretty much. She is so honest, which made me relax….” - Jessica C.
Brow Lift Recovery and Healing
Recovery from a brow lift includes keeping your head elevated for a few days. The staff at Parkcrest Plastic Surgery will make sure that you know exactly how to take care of your newly operated brow before you leave the clinic. Some swelling and a feeling of numbness are normal and cold compresses can be used to alleviate discomfort.
Exposure to the sun after your brow lift surgery is not a good idea, and you should take it easy for some time to give yourself a chance to heal.
