Meet Dr. Tara Ramachandra
Dr. Tara Ramachandra is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and otolaryngologist (ENT) specializing in cosmetic and functional procedures of the face and neck. Her surgical interests include rhinoplasty, eyelid and brow surgery, facial reconstruction following skin cancer removal, facelift and neck lift surgery.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Ramachandra earned her undergraduate degree in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University, where she also completed medical school. She completed her otolaryngology residency and facial plastic surgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University, followed by a clinical fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Dublin.
Since moving to St. Louis, Dr. Ramachandra has practiced both otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. She has extensive experience performing reconstruction following Mohs surgery as well as functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. She has been recognized annually as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2022.
Dr. Ramachandra is thrilled to bring additional surgical services to Parkcrest Plastic Surgery, including rhinoplasty, nasal airway surgery, and otoplasty (ear reshaping). She is also eager to expand her practice in facelift and neck lift surgery, combining her knowledge of facial anatomy with a thoughtful, individualized approach to facial rejuvenation.
She lives in St. Louis with her husband, their two sons, and their golden retriever, Sona. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, listening to live music, watching stand-up comedy, and creating elaborate Halloween costumes for her children.
